The governors are seeking to appoint a caring, positive, self-motivated and organised candidate in a dual role as 1:1 teaching assistant and wrap around care assistant. As teaching assistant you will support two different children across the week, both of whom have an EHCP and you will need to communicate with two different job share partners who work in the mornings. Therefore, the ability to work flexibly and to communicate well with different people will need to be key skills. As wrap around care assistant, you will work to help support our busy and thriving Busy Bee Wrap Around Care provision, providing a safe and fun atmosphere whilst encouraging creative and imaginative play activities. Previous experience of working with children in a school setting is essential, and you must demonstrate patience and empathy and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

We are offering the opportunity to work in an environment where each person is valued and with pupils who love to learn and are motivated in wanting to do well. You will be joining a committed team where your own professional development is given a high priority.

This is a church school and the candidate should be at ease with the Christian vision and ethos of our school. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.  The successful candidate will need to undertake a DBS check, along with other relevant employment checks.
