Job Title: Adults Social Worker
Salary: £18,472 - £24,067 per annum plus Market Forces £1,784 Per annum. 
22 Hours per Week
Location: Parkside, Bromsgrove

The Role: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent social worker in the Redditch Area Team. Applications are welcomed from both experienced social workers for a 22hrs post. We are looking for someone with a positive strength-based approach to working with people. The candidate should have experience of working with complex cases as a social worker and possess a high competent level of skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation alongside extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act, The Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act. However, there is training to further enhance your skills. The candidate should be enthusiastic and evidence they can work autonomously and creatively.  The successful Candidate will also be part of the duty rota. Some Hybrid working will be considered but needs to be discussed in advance.  

In Worcestershire we have adopted the 3 Conversation model of practice which involves a strength-based approach to working with people. You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and have the ability to approve and purchase support packages to support people to make positive changes in their life. You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues, other statutory partners, and voluntary sector providers. You are given opportunities and supported to be creative, innovative and search for strength-based solutions.
