We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Safeguarding and Child Protection (DSL). The ideal candidate will take a lead role within the well-being team at Franche Primary School to ensure that children are safe and to further improve standards of attendance and outcomes for all. The successful candidate will have experience of working as a DSL/DDSL or within a Safeguarding team and will be able to forge strong relationships with both children and their families.
The position is advertised at full time; however for the right candidate we would consider 0.8 applications.
Candidates must have experience of strategic school leadership and take positive action to promote school improvement. We are looking for candidates who are strong classroom practitioners, possess excellent organisational skills, demonstrate attention to detail and have the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
The successful candidate will have a commitment to working in partnership alongside governors, parents and other stakeholders. All applicants must show dedication and commitment to maintaining high standards by personalising Early Help support for families in order to ensure that all children are able to make good progress. Experience of working across the Primary phase and knowledge of statutory Safeguarding guidance is essential.
