Salary: £29,832 - £31,877 per annum 
35 Hours per Week

Fixed Term Contract until End July 2027

 

Careers Worcestershire has a new and exciting role as a Careers and Employment Advisor based at our new Redditch Careers Hub and working in various community locations in Redditch. Supporting young people aged 16-24 into positive destinations to achieve their career aspirations. As a Careers and Employment advisor you will be part of a dynamic team using our young person centred approach that supports young people into employment, education or training. 


Careers Worcestershire provides young people with a safe, friendly, inclusive, and welcoming environment where they can access helpful support and advice.

 

Multiple roles available:

  • 35 hours per week a fixed-term contract/Maternity cover until End July 2027 with a view to extending. 
  • 28 hours per week (salary pro rata) fixed term until 31st March 2027 with a view to extending

In delivering the role, you will empower young people (aged 16-24) through group and individual mentoring sessions.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working directly with young people aged 16-24, being able to engage and relate well to this age group, including those who are vulnerable or in crisis.

You will ideally have experience of delivering 1:1 or group mentoring sessions and knowledge of the fundamentals of mentoring and youth work, along with experience of designing and developing resources for young people.
