The Role:
We have Newly Qualified Social Worker vacancies across the different children’s social work teams here in Worcestershire. The vacancies are across our entire service including, the Family Front Door (Initial assessment teams), Locality (Child Protection and Care Proceedings) and Through Care (Children Looked After) children’s social work teams and these will be discussed with you at interview to identify your preference and best match for your skills and experiences and in conjunction as to where the vacancies are.
Starting Salary £32,654 rising to £34,314 at the end of your ASYE. You’ll move up the Children’s Social Worker pay scale.

- Protected caseload of a maximum of 12
- A designated Advanced Social Work Practitioner who will co-work cases with you as well as give individual reflective supervision sessions.
- Protected development time – 10% of your week is given over to protected development time, as well as Action Learning Sessions.
