Post: Class Teachers – Two Maternity Cover Positions  

Salary: Main Pay Scale 

Contract type: Full-time, fixed-term maternity cover for one year

Start date: January/February 2027  

Broadway First School is looking for two excellent and enthusiastic teachers to join our friendly and supportive team to provide maternity cover.

We are a welcoming first school in the beautiful village of Broadway, with a strong sense of community and a commitment to providing the very best education and experiences for our children. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about helping children achieve their best, have high expectations and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity or an ECT beginning your career, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

We are particularly interested in appointing people who will bring enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school. Experience or an interest in English, SEND or wider curriculum development would be welcomed, but is not essential.

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
