We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Class Teacher to join our team. This position may be based in either EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate. 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children
  • Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and learning
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2. Experience or knowledge of working within EYFS would be an advantage.
  • Is committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to the classroom
  • Works well as part of a supportive team
  • Has a willingness to contribute to the wider school community

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
