The Role:
Are you passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families affected by domestic abuse? Join our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) as part of Worcestershire's Family Front Door service. This new team plays a vital role in ensuring children and young people are protected where actual or likely significant harm has been identified.
As a Domestic Abuse Practitioner, you will:
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions.
- Support victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse during child protection enquiries.
- Contribute to safety planning and make referrals to partner agencies and multi-agency forums such as MARAC
- Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies, including participation in Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) discussions).
We are looking for a skilled practitioner with experience in domestic abuse interventions and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
