Job Title: EARLY YEARS LEVEL 2 OR LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED TEACHING ASSISTANT
Salary: £18,822 - £19,121 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3pm in Nursery (30 minute lunch break) 30 hours per week

We wish to appoint a skilled Nursery Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. The role will require a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a keyworker group and be responsible for supporting, planning and assessment and managing outstanding learning opportunities for our nursery children (aged from 2 year 9 months to 4).

The successful candidate will be able to:

Have a relevant Early Years Level 2 or 3 qualification
Have an understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures and ensuring the welfare of the children
Have recent experience of working within an Early Years setting
Be a friendly face who can relate warmly to children
Be a team player, who is committed to their own professional development
Support the Christian ethos of our school

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
