We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our senior leadership team as Curriculum Leader for English and Phase Leader for Key Stage 1. This post includes responsibility for teaching a Key Stage 1 class.

The successful candidate will:
- Provide strategic leadership for the English curriculum, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
- Lead and manage the Key Stage 1 phase, motivating and supporting colleagues and driving improvements in pupil outcomes.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom practice, serving as a role model for staff and pupils.
- Contribute to the wider work of the senior leadership team and the ongoing improvement of the school.
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience in leading a subject or phase
- Secure knowledge of the teaching of synthetic phonics and early reading, and the ability to support colleagues in this area
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and support others.
- Knowledge of up to date, research informed pedagogy
- Excellent behaviour management and high expectations of all pupils
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and the wider community
