Job Title: Finance Officer (Direct Payment Audit Team)

The Role:
Within Finance we are continually working to ensure the services we deliver support the wider business, our service users, and our customer journey too. We have recently transformed the service we provide to Adults Social Care delivering Financial Support to Adults Direct Payments.
Due to retirement we are now looking for an additional Direct Payment Auditor to join the team (JD and PS attached). You will be responsible for reviewing spend on Direct Payment Accounts so attention to detail is key. You will also be liaising with service users, adult social care colleagues as well as other members of the team so good communication skills are essential. Ideally you will have a knowledge of Adults Direct Payments and a willingness to learn new processes and improve service delivery.
The post will report to Marie Mears (FOS Operational Manager) and work alongside the existing DP Auditor and DP Senior Officer with additional support from the Direct Payment Lead in Adult Social Care.
