Required as soon as possible after interview on (Week Beg 11th May), our two schools require the following:
Finstall First School
Vacancy – Groundsperson and School Security Officer
Full year
We require a hardworking and committed Groundsperson / School Security Officer (17 ½ hours / week – roughly 7.45am – 11.15am daily during term time but with greater flexibility during school holidays) who will take pride in looking after our very successful and well-maintained School.
Key duties will include Morning site security, minor repairs, general grounds maintenance duties, routine health and safety checks and liaising with external contractors.
Pay range – full year - Scale 3 - Spinal Column Points 5 – 6
Total pay - £12,100 – £12,292 per annum at 17 ½ hours / week to be worked throughout the year
Additional hours available for security work relating to lettings.
Closing date: Friday 8th May; Interviews to be held Week Beginning 11th May.
Hanbury C of E First School
Vacancy – Groundsperson
Full Year
We require a hardworking and committed Groundsperson (7 ½ hours / week – can be worked flexibly throughout each week) who will take pride in looking after our very successful and well-maintained rural School.
Key duties will include carrying out minor repairs, general grounds maintenance duties and liaising with external contractors.
Pay range – full year - Scale 3 - Spinal Column Points 5 – 6
Total pay - £5,185 – £5,268 per annum at 7 ½ hours / week to be worked throughout the year
Closing date: Friday 8th May; Interviews to be held Week Beginning 11th May.
The roles in the two Schools could, ideally, be undertaken by the same person although we will consider applications from suitably qualified candidates who might just be interested in working in one School.
