About our Headteacher Role  

This role has come about due to the retirement of our present and long standing headteacher. You'll be joining a "good school" and we're rightly proud that the school is recognised to serve pupils, families and its local community well. Coming off the back of some strong KS2 results. It's a great position to be in and to build further from. Our new Headteacher will be key in the next step of our journey, which will see all pupils exceling academically and a commitment to improving the life chances of all children. This is a great opportunity to help shape thoughts, processes and pedagogy and join us in the next part of our journey.

  • Build on the work of the retiring Headteacher, with a proven track record of successful senior leadership in a primary school setting, raise standards and achieve excellent academic outcomes for all children.
  • Be an excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with children, staff, parents and the wider community.
  • Lead curriculum development and inspire continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Embody the values and vision of Meadow Green Primary School.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet the needs of all children, maintaining a well-equipped and stimulating learning environment.
  • Further build a culture of continuous professional development providing guidance, mentorship and opportunities for growth to all staff members.
