Job Title:  Lead First Aider
Salary:  Scale 4, SCP 7 - 11, with a pro rata'd salary of £13319 - £14506 per annum
Hours: 21 hours and 15 minutes per week (21.25) Monday - Friday 10.15am - 2.30pm

Hagley Primary School is a happy, exciting and forward-looking school. 

We are seeking to appoint a confident, caring and organised person to join our team in the role of school Lead First Aider. This role will require applicants to assess the medical and welfare needs of children and staff, and administer front-line First Aid. The successful candidate will ensure that pupils with ongoing medical needs are supported in school in line with their Individual Health Care Plans, administer approved medication to students and maintain records and reports, including those for statutory requirements. 

Applicants must hold a full First Aid certificate as a minimum requirement. Relevant experience of working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential. 

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory 
response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
