Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor
Salary: £4319 per annum
Hours: 7.5 per week. 12:00-1:30pm Monday - Friday. Term time only.  
Location: St Anne's CE Primary School and Nursery, Wyre Hill, Bewdley, DY12 2UQ
Position: Permanent 

Start date: 1st September 2026
 

The Governors of St Anne's CE Primary School and Nursery would like to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to work within our school.

Responsibilities and Tasks

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Working as part of a fast moving team, taking direction and having a willingness to be flexible
  • Organisation and cleaning of the school hall at meal times including arranging and transporting tables and chairs
  • Supervision of children while eating their meals and encouraging a positive attitude to healthy eating
  • Supervision of children during inside and outdoor play, ensuring children are fully supervised and are safe in their activities
  • Dealing with and, if necessary, reporting any negative behaviour and reporting the more serious incidents to the class teachers
  • Ensuring and encouraging independence in good hygiene routines at lunchtimes
  • Dealing with any minor first aid incidents and, if necessary, reporting to the designated First Aider any more serious or suspicious injuries
  • Completion of the accident book and reporting incidents to the Admin Manager
  • Taking part in discussions with school’s management which promote the positive ethos of the school and which focus on whole-school development issues

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
