Vacancy – 12-month contract - Part time Teaching Assistant (Grade TA2)

We will review the contract in 12 months’ time and would hope to extend this, subject to sufficient EHCP funding. 

 

19 hours / week over 4 days

Proposed hours:

 

Monday             8.45am – 3.20pm  

Tuesday             1.20pm – 3.20pm  

Wednesday      8.45am – 3.20pm  

Thursday           None  

Friday                  8.45am – 3.20pm  

 

There may be the option to extend these hours to incorporate Tuesday morning, which would increase the contract by a further 3 hours and 40 minutes.  This can be discussed during school visits and at interview.  

 

The role will involve providing classroom support, working across three year groups in the school.  


Pay Range

Grade TA2 - Spinal Column Point 2-4 (£11,539) per annum at 19 hours per week


We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team from Monday 23rd February or as soon as is reasonably possible.

The role will involve 

 

  • Supporting children’s learning across a range of year groups.  
  • Providing high quality classroom support to pupils and staff.
  • Supporting targeted pupils who need additional help to overcome specific barriers to learning

Wednesday 7th January 1.00pm

Thursday 8th January at 9.00am
