Job Title: Mainstream School Admissions Placement Officer

Salary: 22,126 - £23,584 per annum 30 Hours per Week

Location: Worcester

Team: School Admissions

Permanent Contract 

The Role: The Mainstream School Admissions Placement Officer will play a crucial role within the School Admissions Team , working to ensure every child has a school place offer. Working closely with schools, families and partner agencies you will work to identify barriers to learning and support families to overcome these.  This may include action under Fair Access for those not able to secure a place.  The role will provide advice and guidance for families, in all aspects of School Admissions, Appeals and Fair Access.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional, with experience dealing with the public and other stakeholders, to assist parents/carers making applications for school admissions and transfers, ensuring a school place is offered within a reasonable timeframe.  The role involves working collaboratively with families and Schools to ensure that all young people are able to access education, leading to improved overall outcomes.
