Lickey Hills Primary School and Nursery is seeking to appoint an inspirational and knowledgeable Maths Lead to champion the teaching and learning of mathematics across our school. This post would suit an experienced teacher with a passion for mastery-based maths, strong curriculum understanding, and the drive to lead whole-school improvement in this key subject.
You will work alongside a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team and Governing Board, contributing to our continued journey of excellence following our recent Ofsted inspection, where we were awarded ‘Good’ in all areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to lead on our maths curriculum, support colleagues, and ensure that all pupils experience high-quality, well-sequenced and ambitious maths learning.

We are looking for someone who:
Has successful experience of curriculum leadership and a strong understanding of mastery in maths
Has expert knowledge of the National Curriculum, statutory assessment, and high-quality teaching and learning
Can model excellent practice and support others to improve
Can design, implement and quality-assure a well-sequenced, adaptive maths curriculum
Uses assessment and data effectively to identify next steps and drive improvement
Communicates clearly, builds strong relationships and can inspire others
Is committed to safeguarding, equality and securing the best outcomes for all pupils
