Salary: £29,832 - £31,877 per annum 
35 Hours per Week

The Role: 

We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed Project Support Officer to work in the Strengthening Communities team within the Adults and Communities directorate at Worcestershire County Council. You will bring a range of experience to the team including significant experience of; co-ordinating projects, financial systems and monitoring, providing excellent organisational and communication skills at all levels.

You will join a small but diverse team supporting project delivery of externally funded schemes, managing commissioned services and wider partnership and engagement work.

We’ll look to you to take forward the day to day project co-ordination support in relation to the delivery of the Department of Work and Pensions funded Crisis and Resilience Fund and public facing directories and systems. Alongside this there will be responsibility for some direct delivery activity in relation to these programmes including management of voucher schemes and financial processing and monitoring.

You’ll also need to have a good understanding of the local statutory voluntary and community sector and need to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with our partners to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.
