Job Introduction

Job Title: Qualified Early Years Practitioner
Salary: £14,612 per annum
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Term Time Only) 
Location: Flyford Flavell Primary School, WR7 4BS  
 
Permanent 

The role includes:

Being involved in developing and delivering high quality, stimulating, creative and welcoming environment for our Pre-school Children.

To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.

Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Undertake the role of key person

Building good working relationships with staff and parents.

To provide a range of activities relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn.

Attending regular supervision and training as agreed with our Pre-school Leader.

Maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Suitable candidates must:

Hold a Level 3 in  childcare or equivalent, although Level 2 will be considered if willing to work towards Level 3

Have a good understanding of EYFS regulations

Be able to demonstrate good communication skills

Have a positive attitude

Be creative and ambitious

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
