Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Salary: £35,000 - £39,999 per annum
28 Hours per Week
Location: Wildwood Offices, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, WR5 2QT
Team: Quality Assurance and Compliance Team
Fixed term contract for a six month period - Approximate start date 06.07.2026.
At Worcestershire County Council, the People Directorate are working with a wide range of partners across social care and health to deliver our strategy - ensuring Worcestershire residents are healthier, live longer, have a better quality of life and remain independent for as long as possible.
The Quality Assurance function is well established and sits within the Commissioning Unit. The Quality Assurance Team ensures that commissioned services in Worcestershire offer high quality safe care that meets contractual requirements and tangibly improves outcomes for adults in Worcestershire. We are a supportive team, which offers regular supervision and a detailed induction.
We are seeking to recruit someone with excellent skills and knowledge in understanding social care quality standards. The successful candidate will need to be someone who can work at a fast pace, is resilient, analytical, able to travel reliably throughout the county, proficient in the use of IT systems and has strong verbal and written communication skills. The role will involve working closely with providers, partners and the individuals accessing the commissioned services in Worcestershire.
