Contract: Permanent Job Share 3 days per week 08:30-15:30 Term Time only including some TE days
Location: St. Andrew's C of E First School, Hewell Road, Barnt Green, B45 8NG
An exciting opportunity has become available to join St Andrew’s C of E First School as a member of the School Office team on a part time, permanent basis.
We are a very popular school, catering for pupils between 4 and 9 years of age. We encourage the children to care and support one another and aim to provide a family atmosphere where children can achieve their full potential.
Main Purpose:
We are looking for an individual with enthusiasm and a passion for helping others who will:
- Support the administrative function of the school, undertaking reception duties, answering telephone calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries. General office duties will include photocopying, signing in visitors, assisting with pupils and liaising with parents/carers and staff. Training will be given to the successful candidate;
- Be enthusiastic, have effective customer service skills, a good sense of humour and be able to work well under pressure;
- Have flexible skills, a good telephone manner and the ability to deal professionally with parents/carers, pupils, staff and visitors;
- Possess computer skills (knowledge of Word and Excel is essential), excellent communication skills, can work as part of a team and willingness to undertake training;
- Be a ‘people person’ demonstrating exceptional inter-personal skills;
- Be committed to safeguarding all children
- Possess excellent organisational and prioritising skills;
- Motivate to inspire others in the pursuit of excellence;
- Promote inclusion as the heart of school improvement.
