Job Title: Service Implementation Manager (Strengthening Communities)
Salary: £33,658 - £36,252 per annum
30 Hours per Week
Location: The Hive, Worcester / home based
Team: Strengthening Communities
Two year Fixed Term Contract
The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed Service Implementation Manager to work in the Strengthening Communities team within the Adults and Communities directorate at Worcestershire County Council.
You will bring a range of skills and knowledge to the team including significant experience of project management, communications plus development and management of external partnerships and relationships.
You will join a small but diverse team which includes the delivery of the Department of Work and Pensions Household Support Fund, information and advice commissioned services, VCSE support and online information directory.
We’ll look to you to take forward the implementation of key strategic initiatives including; an online community services directory, a countywide volunteer portal, Armed Forces Covenant co-ordination as well as leading the communication requirements for the service area.
You’ll also need demonstratable knowledge or experience of the voluntary and community sector and have the ability to work collaboratively with our statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.
