The Role: We are a highly regarded, friendly team supporting learners with a sensory impairment in mainstream settings across the county. This is an opportunity to join us as a specialist teaching assistant working with deaf children or young people in their educational setting in Worcestershire. You will be working with Qualified Teachers of the Deaf/Multi Sensory Impairment, an Educaional Audiologist and Specialist Practitioners, as well as setting based staff.

We are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and highly motivated specialist teaching assistant with excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to support and adovcate for the needs of a deaf pupil. The ability to travel across the county is essential as there may be opportunities to work in other settings in future. You will have experience of working with children/young people and a BSL level 2 qualification (or be working towards level 2). All necessary training will be provided and you will have a range of CPD and support within the team.
