Teacher of Food Technology with Design Technology (MPS: Permanent – Full Time)

 

Required from September 2026.

 

The Bewdley School is seeking an exceptional teacher to join the school next academic year, to teach food technology. The school wishes to recruit a second food technology teacher to expand our very popular and oversubscribed food technology and hospitality and catering courses. This appointment supports the expansion of our food technology provision through the refurbishment of our second food technology teaching room. The ability to also offer some Design Technology teaching at KS3 is essential, as this is also a very popular subject in the school.

 

As such whilst this appointment would suit any level of experience in food technology teaching, it would be ideally suited to a new entrant to the profession. The post will be supported by exceptional mentoring from a very well established and experienced specialist food technology teacher, and a dedicated food technology technician. There is also be an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with our food team to develop a new post-16 food technology provision.
