Hours: 30 hrs term time only
Location:
Broadway First School
Permanent Fixed until July 2027

Broadway First School has a rare opportunity to add a Teaching Assistant to our committed Early Years team. We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant with a passion for developing and inspiring children to achieve their very best.  If you are dedicated, professional, creative and a real team player, then we would love to hear from you. You will ideally already hold an Early Years accredited qualification at Level 3 supported by Maths and English qualifications at GCSE or equivalent level. The school may consider applications from unqualified candidates who have exceptional qualities that would support training through the apprenticeship route alongside the role.

You will work in our Early Years class, which caters for preschool children from 3 years old and reception-aged children, supported by an experienced and high-quality Early Years teacher. This is a great opportunity to develop skills further whilst being able to explore new interests in a school that is always looking to provide the best for its community.

The school received many complimentary comments in its most recent Ofsted report, recognising the ‘high-quality and wide-ranging curriculum’ at our school as well as the nurturing environment we have created.

The role is fixed until the end of the 2027 academic year initially, although there is a strong possibility this will be extended and made permanent as we continue to expand our Early Years provision. The post will commence in as soon as possible, subject to satisfactory clearances. We welcome school visits so that you can see our wonderful school for yourself.
