Salary: £17,253 - £17,527 per annum
Hours: 27.5 per week

We are seeking dedicated SEN Learning Assistants to join our team! 

St Richard's Church of England First School is a school that is undertaking a transformative journey; recently reduced from 2 form to 1 1/2 form entry, with a significantly high level of need and children who need nurture, love and support. Responsibilities:

•Provide individualised support to pupils with SEN, focusing on their unique learning needs.

•Utilise interactive learning techniques to enhance engagement.

•Collaborate with teachers and educational professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans.

•Assist in the preparation and adaptation of teaching materials, ensuring they are accessible to pupils with varying abilities.

•Facilitate interactive learning activities, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.

•Promote independence and social interaction among pupils with SEN.

•Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.

Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students' well-being.Requirements:

•Experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Patient, compassionate, and understanding approach when working with pupils

•Ability to adapt and differentiate teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

•Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
