Salary: £35,887 - £38,288 per annum

Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB) are looking for a well organised and effective business coordinator to oversee the management of Safeguarding Adults Reviews and coordinate the work of the the Board. The successful candidate and will be part of a small team which oversees the work of the WSAB.
The primary role is to manage the Safeguarding Adults Review process. A Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) is a multi-agency review process which seeks to determine what relevant agencies and individuals could have done differently that could have prevented the harm or death of a person with care and support needs from taking place in order to promote learning and improvement.
Duties include, develop and implement the SAR protocol and governance arrangements for the SAR sub-group; manage the procurement process for SARs and Rapid Reviews, support and assist WSAB representatives to develop and meet outcomes, particularly in relation to SARs; Manage and oversee the SAR sub-group work program, including the implementation of business objectives and Multi-Agency Action Plans from SARs.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of service development and knowledge of strategic planning. They should have experience of coordinating complex work streams and/or project management. They should also have experience of managing budgets and finance, including procurement, along with excellent communication and report writing skills.
