Salary: £13840.21 - £16261.45 per annum
Hours: 7.15am to 9.00am then 3.00pm to 5:40pm

St. Kenelm’s is a small village school in a beautiful rural setting. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, organised and dedicated Teaching Assistant to lead our hard-working, friendly Wraparound Care Team. 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, supervising staff, planning engaging activities, and ensuring high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing for all children.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

• can design and plan activities for children in the Nursery and Primary age-range to undertake during Wraparound Care.
• will adhere to policy and procedures
• will support children with selecting/eating their meals and clearing away afterwards.
• has experience of working within the Primary age range (experience of working with children with additional needs would be advantageous).
• understands the principles of children’s development in the Early Years, Key Stages 1 and 2
• has high expectations in terms of children’s behaviour and engagement with activities.
• is willing to contribute positively to the life of the school and its community
• can work effectively as a team leader and team member
• NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent (this is a requirement of the role)
• Understands safeguarding and child-centred practice
• can be the Designated Safeguarding Lead during Wraparound Care (training Provided) 
• is positive, flexible and reliable
