Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Down Syndrome Support) 
Salary: £20,218 - £20,521 per annum
Hours: 8.15am-3.10pm Monday to Friday (term time only + 5 days) 
Location: Bewdley, Worcestershire
 
Fixed term (for the duration of the child's placement at Bewdley Primary School)
 

We are seeking a caring, committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a delightful child with Down Syndrome. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and has experience supporting children with additional needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the child’s learning, communication and independence, working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals to ensure the child thrives both academically and socially.

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
