Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant with at least Level 2 British Sign Language
Salary: TA3 Point 7 £11,282 per annum
Hours: 
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am to 3pm (30 minute lunch break) (18 hours)

Location:  Harvington C of E First & Nursery School, Village Street, Harvington, Evesham WR11 8NQ
Fixed term contract linked to child 

We wish to appoint a confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic teaching assistant (Grade 3) with at least L2 BSL to support a child within our Year 3 class.

The successful candidate will have:

 

•          GCSE English or maths-or equivalent 

•          Minimum level 2 British Sign Language

•          A commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of the 

           children 

•          A friendly face who can relate warmly to children 

•          A commitment to inclusion, having high expectations and     

           supporting the progress of a pupil whatever their needs.

•          Highly independent, organised, committed, reflective and    

           resilient

•          Effective communication skills

•          Able to use own initiative to respond to unexpected problems

•          A good team player who is professional, honest and loyal

•          Able to be flexible and open to change

•          A commitment to developing own learning development

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
