Salary: £29,832 - £31,877 per annum
35 Hours per Week
Location: Warndon Depot, Pershore Lane, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 0AA
Team: Education Travel Team - Part of the Transport Technology Team
Permanent Contract
The Role:
We have an exciting new opportunity to work within the Education Travel Team as a Policy and Assessment Officer.
The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and supportive team which offers new challenges every day and a flexible and varied role. You will be responsible for assessing criteria on transport applications and applying policy to determine eligibility. The role will utilise various IT systems to maintain and record information accurately.
Candidates should have the ability to understand, interpret and apply policy, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to confidently communicate decisions to a variety of audiences.
You will need have excellent organisational skills, be able work collaboratively with colleagues and also be able to work using your own initiative.
We believe staff development is a key aspect to support colleague to fulfil their potential. Full training will be provided on the specific IT systems for the role with ongoing development opportunities to support personal and professional growth.
