The Role:
Worcestershire children’s services are proud to be identified by OFSTED as providing GOOD services to the children and young people in Worcestershire. Our leadership team plays a critical role in leading, supporting and inspiring not only our service but working with our partner agencies in delivering positive outcomes for our families. We welcome the new children and families’ reforms and are building on our existing strengths to deliver dynamic support and evidence-based intervention through multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working across our levels of need. Focusing on ensuring families receive the right service at the right time and their experiences are as seamless as possible as their needs change, preventing them from repeating their story multiple times.

Therefore, this new job opportunity will play a significant part in working with us and leading our transformational work specifically around the Family help model.
This Group Manager role will be within our Children’s Family Front Door and will have line management responsibility for our EDT service, our contact and referral team (known as the Family Front Door) and our new multi-agency safeguarding hub alongside lead responsibilities such as strategic and leadership work with our partner agencies.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced children's social care manager, registered with Social Work England who has the skills, experience, drive and ambition to lead and manage alongside us.
