Vacancy – Permanent Part time Teaching Assistant (Grade TA1)

 

16 hours/ 5 days per week

 

To include lunchtime supervision and classroom support each afternoon.

Monday                11.45am – 2.45pm  

Tuesday                11.45am – 3.15pm  

Wednesday         11.45am – 3.15pm  

Thursday              11.45am – 2.45pm  

Friday     11.45am – 2.45pm  

 

Pay Range

Grade TA1 - Spinal Column Point 2-4 (£9273.00-£9566.00) per annum at 16 hours per week

 

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team from Monday 23rd February or as soon as is reasonably possible.

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

  • Enjoys working with children and helping them to achieve their best
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Has good communication skills and a flexible, team-focused approach
  • Is patient, reliable and committed to supporting the ethos of our school

 

The role will involve 

 

  • Supporting the children at lunchtime.  This will include setting up and packing away equipment, supervising children as part of the wider lunchtime team and developing the children’s play and social skills.  
  • Providing high quality classroom support to pupils and staff.
  • Supporting targeted pupils who need additional help to overcome specific barriers to learning
