About Us:

Beaconside is a successful one-form entry primary (Reception – Year 6) and nursery school with a mainstream autism base.

We are a Worcestershire maintained school, based on the Birmingham/Worcestershire border. We are 5 minutes from Junction 3 – M5, 20 minutes from Redditch, 25 minutes from Worcester City Centre and 30 minutes from Birmingham City Centre. Our recent OfSTED inspection judged us to be ‘strong’ in all areas.

“Relationships sit at the heart of the school. Standards of behaviour are high and low‑level disruption is rare. This nurturing, friendly school is a place where pupils feel that they belong. As a result, they thrive both emotionally and academically. Staff describe a safe, well‑led school with fair, consistent systems, purposeful professional learning and a coaching culture that builds expertise.” OfSTED February 2026

Visits to the school prior to application are actively encouraged.
