Job Title: Systems Data Engineer
Salary: £37,938 - £40,476 per annum 
35 Hours per Week
Location: Warndon Depot, Worcester

Team: Highways and Transport Systems and Technology Team

The Role: 

Are you ready to shape the future of Worcestershire’s transport network? As a Highways & Transport Systems Development & Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering transformative projects under Worcestershire’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and Enhanced Partnership Plan (EP).

This is an opportunity to lead ambitious, high-profile projects that enhance Worcestershire’s public transport network, including cutting-edge innovations like real-time passenger information, Demand Responsive Transport and smart ticketing systems. You’ll work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to make a tangible difference to Worcestershire’s residents, contributing to the county’s vision for accessible, sustainable, and modern transport services.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of managing transport or technology projects and a passion for sustainability and innovation. You’ll need strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to deliver complex projects, navigate competing priorities, and managing diverse stakeholders.
