We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, inspirational and dedicated teaching assistant to join the early years team in our Pre-School setting which caters for children aged 3 -4.

 Our Pre-school setting offers wonderful opportunities for the right candidate to join our school’s friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team.


The successful candidate will work closely with our Nursery Teacher, Nursery manager and the wider Nursery team. They will play a key role in ensuring positive outcomes for all children in their learning, care and development. We have fantastic learning environments, facilities and extensive grounds to help our children flourish and develop.  
Candidates need to have a kind, patient and caring attitude. They should be approachable and have excellent communication skills with children, parents, staff.


The ideal candidate should be a minimum of level 2 qualified in early years and must have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent). Experience of working within a Nursery or Pre-School is essential.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
