The Role: This is a  full time (37 hours Monday - Friday)  permanent Team Manager position based in our Family Front Door.

The children's Family Front Door is the central point of contact for professionals and members of the public to come to  when they have identified concerns about the safety and welfare of children and young people in Worcestershire.  We are extremely proud  of the journey that this service area has been on over the years; the stability and consistency in decision making it provides for children and young people. The Family Front Door is a well established, respected and recognised team that has strong working relationships with our partner agencies and colleagues across children's services.

The FFD team not only receives information in they also act on behalf of children's services to  provide information out to a range of  other professional bodies e.g. CAFCASS, DBS, fostering agencies, probation etc

As part of our multi agency work we have weekly MASH case discussions, child protections strategy discussions and sometimes SUDi/C meetings which are all led and managed by the Team Managers.

We are developing our Family Help model and the Family Front Door plays a key role in supporting the new Family Help  teams but also working collaboratively as leaders and managers across children's service.

Therefore, this is a great time to join the team and be part of the design and discussions on how we implement the  social care reforms and how we shape our practice going forwards with  our partners.

This is a great opportunity for you to consider expanding your leadership skills and experience or if you are ready to move your career into management and leadership and hold the relevant  social work qualification, skills and experience. We invite you to apply for this Team Manager role via Tribe pad uploading your CV and completing your personal statement.
